PSi was contracted by Marengo Mining to develop the exploration tunnels at their Yanderra Project, located 95 kilometres southwest of the northern seaport of Madang which is situated within the highly prospective New Guinea Copper-Gold Belt.
Due to the remoteness of the project helicopters were used to transport all equipment to site, traditional methods were used set and timber, drill & blast and removal of spoil by rail skips, two tunnels were put in at different levels of the project.
Local labor was used with our highly skilled PNG miners to complete the project on time and without loss time.
